I am interested in the Wireless DSL that
City Marburg. I have so far only village DSL available with 384 kBit/s. For me therefore the variant with 2MBit Download and 1MBit Upload would be a large improvement.
According to the data on the homepage can one over it also VoIP use. Therefore I consider, mean fixed mains connection with DSL and the 1&1 contract to well-informed and on WDSL to transfer. Before I all well-informed however experiences of other Usern would interest me. WDSL is offered also in other cities, not only Marburg.
Is that just as reliable as fixed net DSL? Are you contently? Are there other disadvantages, which I do not see now perhaps yet at all? Does VoIP function satisfyingly?
Thanks and greeting,
AS
Rear one,
thus with Wireless DSL I do not have experiences, but you uses at present DSL of the Telekom look nevertheless times whether with you alternative carrier are available e.g. alice by qsc or so.
At my previous residence there were of t-com also only the DSL light in the entire village, by alice light with reasonable modem came I then stable on 1500/600 into down /Upload.
If thus an alternative carrier is available with you I it over it to try, e.g. alice light without mvlz to order and if it does not please simply well-informed and nen month later nevertheless Wireless DSL DSL to order.
Hello,
I have a few customers in Magdeburg over MDDSL both the Internet and the VoIP connection to use. There there are hardly problems. One always works however there with an external antenna on the roof.
A few roads it continues to give to be nearly always used another offerer where indoor antennas. These customers complain about occasional losses.
I think one can with this technology live, but it is and remains a radio transmission. Only with this technology I would get along surely neither privately nor in business.
Greeting
Uwe
So, it tried out.
For three days I have now W-DSL of the city Marburg. And which I am to say? Up to now I am inspired.
- stable radio communication, thickens sufficient receipt quality at my location
- very good data transmission rate
- VoIP functions perfectly
- W-DSL is superior to the village DSL of the Telekom around lengths
I booked the 2MBit option in addition. I.e. 1MBit Upload/2MBit Download.
After Speedtest.net I reach approx. 950 Upload and 1900 kBit kBit Download.
The support is very good and fast:
Sontag morning an inquiry posed (Downloadgeschwindigkeit still stands on 1MBit)
Sunday noon answer gotten (must be adjusted only in the installed radio modem by main line train reef, happened normally automatically after a few days)
Sunday evening settles!
To the information: here does it concern not the 24h occupied support department of a gigantic company, but an offerer with (?) 2000 customers.
So perhaps these info. other one helps, which is tied up also only over cables with 384 kBit/s.
Greeting,
AS
