Hello and good morning

After in-usual study of this forum and Google for Sunday afternoon, I have times a small question and I think that this scenario (already described) illustrates my world at home quite well:

In front: My network extends at home over several buildings and is realized between the buildings over LWL. Completely Gigabit and QoS able, also the desire to tie up three telephones over VoIP (those will be all together exclusively for me and my friend in our dwelling, my parents will become their classical DECT Mobilteile and the classical analog fax kept).

Current conditions:

DSL/ISDN connection, to it the usual: Fragment, NTBA and DSL modem.
On the DSL modem a M0n0wall hangs (http://http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php/m0n0.ch) and at the NTBA a Telekom T-Concept XI420 with 4 similar branches and an internal S0-Bus.

I got Desweitern a beautiful Cisco CP-7912G given (SIP license is druff ) and this would use also gladly for the first experiments.

A goal is it to install at the internal S0 of the XI420 something that I can hang my IP-Phone (if it functioned, I look myself after further devices over). VoIP over the DSL connection to outside is totally unreasonable owing to 512kBit-Leitung (we live at the A.d.W.) and is unnecessary.

A finished “box” would be beautiful - solution like the Auerswald or a Fritz box, a Asterisk & a CO would be not so quite me due to high Friemelarbeit and high current consumption.

Achja, still what… if that functions sometime times everything, liebugle I with WLAN Mobilteilen… ACCESS POINTs I distributed and could three pieces on property (nearly) everywhere telephone in this way.
Update: So that I can play at all first times thereby, I together-looked for myself at home times something hardware fr'n Asterisk ('ne AVM B1 'had even still rumliegen…) … the current Debian Netinst ISO I rather pull myself with the work
First times: I spendiert you its own Thread, so that other forum participants can also find your contribution.

To the topic: in order to operate a VoIP telephone (or three of it) as branches at your existing plant, it requires a SIP Registrars at a ISDN/VoIP gateway. This could be a bespielsweise Auerswald COMpact 3000 ISDN. From the costs this solution is quite favorable both in the acquisition, and in the enterprise.

If you would like to keep the option for later further telephones (similar or VoIP) open, a Auerswald COMpact 5010 would be to be looked at.

Fritz! Box hair dryer with three similar participants and if necessary. a terminal adapter, over at the internal HAIR DRYER S0 still max. two further to operate similar participants and/or. by VoIP still VoIP telephones over the internal SIP Registrar of the newer FBF models to tie up, also an option would be, however from the development more limited for IMHO.

I drew times something (a picture says more than thousand words)… I am to be had in the lucky position Visio on my service laptop

@Gandalf: Thanks for the answer, I look yourself degrees with Auerswald over. Perhaps that is already what I look for…
Yo! That can be done in such a way with a COMpact 3000. If you take the COMpact 5010 VoIP, the old XI420 can be void

--gandalf.
That will not be able be done, because the two telephone systems will be located in different buildings. In addition I would be completely grateful, if _meine_ MSN afterwards September-guess/advise plant on 'more ner run…

I could feed however also the complete plant of the other building… in addition I would have me however then times more comprehensively the head zermartern, before must the IP-Fonie first times function

Thanks already times so far…
Why do the telephone systems have to be located in different buildings, if between the terminals and the VoIP plant only Ethernet is necessary nevertheless? Where is the plant in your LAN afterwards located, does play nevertheless no role, or?

With “your MSN” over a separate plant I let be considered already rather as argument

--gandalf.
Around auseinanderzudrseln I would have times the cable runs with us at home outlining… that would not be settled however in 5 minutes ^^

Only so roughly: At the current location of the XI420 far and broadly no Ethernet, however also no further voice grade channels is to be gotten drawable (all old building of 1932 ). If the area should be reconditioned sometime times again (the last mark was however before 5 years), then mach' I anyway again the cover up and install there LAN and 'n thick Telefonkabel direction attic)… However I have in the course of shifting the DSL modem into the other building (“server area”) also equal the ISDNer there extended… and from there that is not all a problem…
Nor which… if I get currentmoderately under 15W (as my m0n0wall), could I also this thing (see appendix) for Asterisk take… everything eliminate, which is not needed, non removable disk through 'nen CF-IDE-adapters replace… that could work also well

Data:
P200MMX
128MB RAM
CF-IDE-adapter with 2GB CF-map (have I anyhow still 'rumliegen)
AVM B1
100MBit/s Ethernet NIC
I had the idea already times. However I never succeeded in making from an old computer an economical computer. The power packs from at that time were not probably particularly on river save out…
http://www.picopsu.de/ is what you would like to then have… I have the topic current savings computer and Stromspar Homeserver already completely well drauf…
Update:

With me still another old PIII 1GHz with 1GB RAM and without HDD 'rum flew at home… fast 'ne old 250GB non removable disk, which installs B1 and 'ne Gigabit NIC inserted and (in the verkaterten condition) on Sunday the Debian. Over the week I will not come probably to install the Asterisk on it and on weekend must I the family bespassen (there celebrates who birthday).

That is still no current savings solution, but I want to try Asterisk out at all firstonce and the SFF crate with the 200er Pentium still am with me in the use… those must be extracted first times ^^

Thanks by the way at beta particles with its Asterisk course… I have nevertheless somehow again desire auf's tinkering gotten ^^
Update:

Since I had something time yesterday against expecting nevertheless, I had shipped the Asterisk quite similarly to Betateilches Asterisk guidance times on my Debian can.

However I saved to install the Asterisk manually

aptitude install asterisk

it does on a current Debian Lenny also outstanding. Also I did not delete myself the prefabricated Configs but into the Userhome of my user shifted (with it one times spicken there can ^^) and afterwards again put on.

Otherwise everything as beta particle it described (Sip configures to etc.) and had then still tried into extensions.conf the echo test passable to make… that did not function. Therefore installed and already I could telephone to short hand 'n Softphone on my can with my Cisco Hardphone of 30 to the Softphone 31

Afterwards my friend was sour and I had with their TV to look

Edit and HP:
I am surprised, as little load puts the Asterisk to the computer on… I let run times during a discussion top and 99.8% idle had. As itself however with mailbox and ISDN< -> VoIP holds back I to probably still test will have.

Nor which has, someone an idea, how much memory times mailboxes and sowas to take later? The idea with 'nem current savings system with CF-map instead of non removable disk seems to appear so far still as most feasible (have now scarcely 400 MT on the crate installed).
Some errors repaired and I continue to be already which -> Update

'Ne FritzCARD under Debian…

This left here remedy creates
