Hello of people,

who can give me a few Tipps?

We have a Fritz box FRITZ! Box hair dryer WLAN 7170 and a ISDN connection. At the Fritz box now 3 ISDN terminals and an Internet telephone are furnished. We would like to change now gladly also the 2 ISDN telephones over to Internet Telefonie, however the numbers are to be maintained. Does that function, if one registers simply two new Internet numbers at the Fritz box and assigns those the ISDN Endgeraten as Auswahlmnummer? If does not go in such a way, can say their to me, how then?

The third ISDN terminal is a fax. Can one send faxes away also over Internet Telefonie?

Is it possible to do by use of the Fritz box on a long-term basis completely without the ISDN connection?

Thanks for your answers

Chrissi

Yes, exactly the same that can be done!
Which VoIP offerer use does you?
Not all can transfer the existing fixed net numbers!

That is at present still absolt unreliable!
With some it functions (at present!), with others not.
Always use for faxes at the best fixed net!

That arrives drauf.
Who telephones very much, and importance on reliable telephoning attaches,
that should keep IMHO better ISDN.
However it gives also meanwhile sufficient content user completely without telephone connection!
Hello,

If the fixed mains connection is quit, then also the fixed net call numbers are omitted, since they belong to the FN-operator.

Hello RudaNet,

we are with 1&1. I will furnish and then will see the whole now times in such a way, what happens.

Chrissi
If you change over to similar, you lose the fixed net numbers up to first.

With 1und1 one can only a de-energising, but do not portieren. That means, which becomes the number going off and 1und1-Interne “Mitverwnedet”. normal detailed calls come however over fixed net purely.

If you want to keep the numbers, you need a Provider, that postage ore.
Then only all numbers only can be portieren and the fixed mains connection are lost. One must make that again new then. How runs then with DSL and in such a way, I do not know also.
If one is the ISDN of devices a fax, the ISDN characteristic FAX4 is not FAX3.
That cannot be sent nevertheless by FoIP.
Thus without ISDN I give only similar fax-turned out (fax3), to local loop a chance.

One can portieren the fixed net numbers also to an Voip offerer. Thus however the complete connection, including DSL, is quit.
One can order however recently a DSL connection without telephone, e.g. with QSC or Hansenet. Ideal way before the Rufnummernportierung over a 2.Leitung, so that the supply without interruption is ensured.
Or until next year thereby wait, because then the firm coupling of DSL and telephone connection is void.
There is also ISDN of faxes, which one can place on Fax3.
Would have to actually go with everyone, otherwise one could reach also none similar to fax.
@pulga10

jau, correctly only in this contribution #4 was the speech of 1&1.
