Hello,

I have 2 x Fritz box 7170.

- The 7170 (IP ends on .1 and is attainable under DNS name Fritz box) as if do not rout (& DNS/DHCP servers) used, however for telephoning.

- The other 7170 than WLAN basis station and telephone system without routing functionality in another floor are used. I would use these now gladly with the new firmware also as SIP server. However my Snom 190 VoIP telephone cannot successfully announce itself unfortunately at the SIP server of these 7170. As SIP server I have the telephone naturally the IP address of the 2. Fritz box instead of “Fritz box” (as hostname of the 1. Fritz box) given, yet does not klapt the registration unfortunately. In other contributions I already read that during the registration it is examined whether it concerns with the SIP server DNS name Fritz box and/or. that this DNS name is compellingly necessary for the registration for safety reasons.

--> Does someone have an idea, how I could solve that?

Thanks first!

It surprises me this incorrect information in other contributions was not criticized/was revised. You can concentrate thus calm conscience further on the actual fault-tracing.
