I have the o. g. FB. on which I furnished remote maintenance. By DNS Deinst I already come from outside on my Fritz box. Now I would like to start still the PC.

A friend has likewise a FB (however different type) where this is possible. Under the menu option “network” it can go in the working on mode and and start has a Button “computer”.

My PC and the network map I already prepared for it. But in the Fritz box the Button does not appear “computer starts” with me.

Does it is dependent Fritz box or have to be made still any attitude?

hmmm, 7141 that can actually as standard equipment? Otherwise, expert opinion activates? Also ne info. to your present firmware would be interesting.

Yes, it depends on the type of the Fritz box.
I am not safe whether WOL is with the 7141 thereby (none has). But install nevertheless times the newest firmware 40.04.70 and check. Expert mode do not forget!
If WOL is not contained, you can install it with Freetz (SuFu to use).

@ colonia. I find this point with me in the FB. But the switch computer starting stop not.

in the left of audioper it stood that the PC must be attached by LAN to the FB. I am however connected by WLAN. Hangs vll. so that together that with my FB of the Button “computers starts” is not indicated, although all other attitudes are correct?

“Computers start” functioned only with devices, which are attached by LAN.

I noticed that. There is no other possibility. Z. B. IP umrouten.

WOL is called Wake on LAN. Is noticeable to you which? It requires a physical connection, so that a computer can be waked, which reacts it to magic packets the which to its MAC (not IP!) are sent. That means also that the network map is supplied with tension (5V) and “in enterprise” is so partial. If however the WLAN out is, exists no radio communication, which could transfer this Packets. Therefore waking over WLAN is also not possible, also not by any cheats. IPs possesses a network map only if the appropriate driver loaded and the IP assigned, thus the computer is quasi in enterprise.

Attempt only times with a program. Look for times for “Freeware WOL” and send times nen signal to your MAC address if you on the same box hang. If it thereby does not go functioned also your WOL not.

With my Main board the WOL does not go although it is correctly adjusted, seems to be already broken. The WOL must be activated also in BIOS.

Ichhabe my PC by Lan cables connected with a Repeater. The Repeater was wiederrum by WLNA with mine DSL-routs who federations. In the FB (DSL rout) I had the appropriate Button “computer now under network to start”. It did not function however. Thus as Schlussfogerung for micht. The PC must directly with DSL routs (from which he gets also the IP) who federations to be, thus WOL funz.
