VoIP: Consumers want dear quality as good deals

With improved language quality new boom is approaching

The article would be still understood from the year 2000, I htt's. Over which the type writes here. Already times with Sipgate telephoned? Obviously probably hardly. If nevertheless, dear gentleman of and too hope, you would probably hardly write so'n nonsense. Rather you would express probably rather your surprise over the outstanding language quality. With my connections via Sipgate the language quality is usually better anyhow than with ISDN.

The only difference, which I can recognize here, is that the fact that I put my telephone with the Telekomikern into the TAE box and can loose-telephone, while I must adapt with Sipgate perhaps before once again my Setup a little. However I take gladly in purchase, particularly since I can also hang my Grandstream then “somewhere” in the world in's net….

The Design of the BT 100 is somewhat habituation-needily and also the features me did not convince. With the ATA 486 I can e.g. a schickes DECT attach telephone. To the rehabilitation of the ATA one must say 486 that it primarily problems with the employment as if rout gives. But I have your doubts in the meantime also. Probably the ATA 486 ends with me as pure Client.

In the press release it concerned however the final consumer market. Companies already use VoIP for internal discussions between addresses for 10 years, i.e. then “telephoning over Intranet” with an abbreviated dialing over the normal telephone. The quality was however at that time really still grottenschlecht.

A further advantage with the use of a similar telephone with the help of the ATA is that one can use an answering set, there Sipgate (unfortunately

) still no VoiceMail implemented.

A very good and constructional objection to the article, as I find. The author pursues this Thread perhaps also, because I had asked for permission for the reproduction.

An inquiry in D would be more interesting, but goes one on the road, one probably longer to search will have here, in order to find someone, that white, what “VoIP” is at all.

I found the comparison with the Panda very well selected. I use the 486er as Client, there actually make he for me no problems - are then rather because of Sipgate disturbances…
