When may one count as a final customer on the availability of the 7390? There does someone know details? It became very calm for March nevertheless again somehow around the equipment. Also info. over the MT-F of mobile parts would be interesting.

Wools already, is only the question whether one can do it. Because I normally expect it from equipment if I buy, that it also perfectly functioned. That however always like that is not, one already saw with the 7270. But we are waiting times, what brings this year still in such a way. Still are a few months time…

I believe that AVM from the 7270-Pleite (were by the way months, not years) learned. New techniques such as z. A few impressions and answers from Frankfurt I you bring along.

The price for FB7390 in the Hochglanzflyer printed with 289, - euro
(times which prices the market see then from it make actual).
FB7270 stands with 249, - euro in the this Flyer (7170 with 199, - euro and also 8260 with 199, - euro).

Back to 7390.
Hardware memory Flash (for firmware etc.) 32MB (instead of so far 8MB and/or. 16MB)
plus 2GB Flash for Streaming etc. (whether there is exactly 2GB, that is not safe yet to 100%).

Main memory with the 7270: 64MB for 7390 I could not rausfinden it so far
(tap on 128MB).

Processor: Clearly faster however nothing details. Also platform altogether more performanter (not only the CCU, also the bus system etc.)
7170: AR7 MIPS 4KEc 212MHz
7270: UR8 MIPS 4KEc 360MHz
7390: New generation U9 said instead of the 7270-UR8-Plattform (platform supplier probably remains Texas Instruments)
To an approximate percentage figure of the performance increase none of the present AVM coworkers could more performance” be hinreissen - only to the statement “clearly. 7390 probably VDSL1 allegedly also VDSL2, ADSL, ADSL2+, runs ISDN, similar to and with UMTS stick as well as at the cable modem at “each connection”.

Feature in summary gg. 7270: Internal content memory, Gigabit LAN, 2 times USB (over two of stroke on up to two times three USB connections expandable), VDSL, faster hardware and more DECT range in work.

The meeting in FFM made altogether a good and professional impression.
The positioning of AVM toward Media Streaming pleased me well.

But there is also a weak point. The 7390 live (only the 7270 was not shown
for all presentation one used). One plans in the meantime the Retail availability for
Center of the fourth quarter. Only few development devices are at present for the tests
the developer available. First production models however still become in September. with AVM tested. In October there could be first devices at the market. To the availability for oem there is firm of contracts for Octobers and/or. Center of the Q4. Retail then probably in November.
Q3 must be now excluded and can anyhow. Intensive tests were however letztklich in our all interests. Become in terms of hardware the OEM models of the FRITZ! Box at all do not differentiate between. Differently only the firmware is to be. I find that good.

By the way I have now also better understood which with the parallel operation about 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz am meant. The new WLAN devices can itself after the Draft n standard on 5 GHz with the FRITZ! Box announce. On the other hand can (at the same time!) the older WLAN devices over 2,4 GHz (G/B standard) attached its and at the same time transmit, because two genuine Transceiver are inserted. The FRITZ! Box can serve thus on both frequency bands in both standards WLAN Clients at the same time. The volume it has 5 GHz beyond that the advantage that there with very much less jammers
to count is, because the frequency band was exclusively defined on the one hand for WLAN
(no disturbance by toys, video transmissions, baby hair dryers etc.) and on the other hand
that has 5 GHz volume more Frequenzkanle and also still many for WLAN is at present more rarely used. In addition, on the other hand it is to be considered that the propagation of 5 GHz
somewhat more strongly by obstacles as for example walls one obstructs. In the sum
consider I this function very goal-prominently, even if I already procured myself in the meantime for an older Notebook a new WLAN map after the Draft n standard.

According to my felt estimate right at the beginning a clearly better quality will have the 7390 as the 7270 at the beginning had (however also a few teething troubles is nevertheless to count).

Hopefully I could bring along thereby a few information for you additionally. I could not make more anyhow at present. Perhaps does someone find still a few details to the U9? - Platform in the Internet.

MT-F was together demonstrated with the 7270. A Radiosender was gestreamt to the MT-F. There I watched out however not completely so exactly and listened. Something of “Internet services on the MT-F bring” were said.

Thus 7390 Roadshow without genuine 7390…. such a thing is probably an evidence of incapacity!

It gives determines internal AVM reasons for it, but it does not throw good light on the coming product start and the width employment.

It is nevertheless probably clearly that the firmware and/or. new technology never functions from the outset fundamental functions to problem-free will run “new things” to only become their Makken to have. I think, one must between basis and extended functions differentiate here, by the way also with the car.

Examples:

If a Fritz box does not want to talk at all with a DSL connection, then a basic function functions not, sowas may not happen (is with my 7270 as it appeared passed at that time) and sowas may not mature also at the customer, which must is before sufficiently tested.
If however WLAN with a WLAN stick from Lampukistan for 9,99 euro is unstable, then can be recognized sowas naturally only at the customer. I exaggerated here, but I think it know which I mean.

With the car is it exactly the same: If steering and braking do not function, does not go naturally at all. But if for example the Bluetooth Freisprecheinrichtung does not function just with my mobile phone, then that can quite happen, must however time near by an update be repaired. And an update happens exactly with cars also, mine kriegt 2 times per year.

There AVM would have to do in addition, a great deal, in order to test all connection variations in the apron. Who knows, what for an exception of the rule your connection represents.

The 7390-Bedienungsanleitungen does not give it yet to the Download. The 7570-Bedienungsanleitungen against it already. There one can see, that of the 7570 another crate actual the housings is first times completely differently than those 7390.

The Design and the print another, us are surely interested whether chip-corrode are still comparable.
After which one can read on the web page gives it hardly differences in the function range, 100MB and not only 50MB maximum VDSL achievement.
and with the WLAN 2.4 and 5 Ghz at the same time (thus the 7270v3 solution).
With security I assume more at RAM and Flash.

Directly of AVM I nothing experienced, the delays might exist however still it probably try the box nevertheless still for the Christmas business into the shops to bring.

In the picture with AVM under “scope of supply” a grey cable is to see - probably “4.25 m the long DSL and fixed mains connection cable” - with three plugs. This points probably on the fact that still external (V) DSL fragments and if necessary. ISDN NTBA (or a Arcor NTSplit) are necessary - is that correct, or is this time inserted to fragments and/or NTBA? Perhaps isn't AVM an internal fragment allowed to insert because of Telekom regulations or patent laws or so which? Would actually unfortunate be!

The thing with the accommodation is probably left to the customer. Whereby I to say do not have that the technology with the VDSL at the end of the flag bar am which the fragment ect. concerns. (one see yourself only the development of the fragments in the last years on) me times to interest like a VDSL connection at the final customer out-looked possibly can me someone in such a way times a picture by PM or send.

a MT-F has a few hours for testing since 7390 and.
The thing makes a substantially rounder impression than 7270 and MT-D:
DECT and WLAN range are clearly better, inserted are two WLAN modules (1 x 2.4 GHz, 1 x 5 GHz), 802,11 n both with 2,4 and 5 GHz are supported. The plate is larger around some.
The antennas are now in the housing integrated, there break off nix more and the irradiation into the cables are substantially smaller.
When Internet services at the MT-F leave themselves several email addresses to furnish, in addition to Podcast, Web radio, WebDAV and RSS feed. With the large color display (mad contrast!) everything can be read well. Also finally there keyboard lighting is.
WDS with the plug socket Repeater or with more ner 7170/7270 folds problem-free, the leidigen misfires of the older 7270 is past.
The telephone IE language quality is class, Internet radio and Podcast also well.
The power pack became stronger, because enough river for two USB devices is there now.
