Thousands of customers of cable German Federal Armed Forces had to get along since past thursday evening without fixed mains connection and Internet entrance. Reason was a disturbance in the Authentifizierungssystem of cable German Federal Armed Forces. If the modem started again because of a RESET or an interruption of voltage supply, it could not in-book itself at some customers again.

Concerned I was fortunately not of it, however covers itself with my experience: if cable German Federal Armed Forces Internet/Telefonie run, then that is perfect, good quality, beautiful range, short latencies. That was the reason for me to operate a T-ISDN call & Surf Comfort parallel so that at least a Backup exists.

That seems to be then with the Kablern generally like that. Completely as with my Viennese wiring loom driver UPC sounds. Mostly genuinly super, but blows one needs which from those. There the then Austrian post office and telegraph administration were still another benediction against it.

thus I was also concerned. But only one day long. On Friday evening went everything then again.
With KabelBW it is never an error to put the modem in once out and then again. That repairs nevertheless many problems. But this time that could be done to stop to the rear loosely.
That telephone and Internet do not function, there I think can a private also once one day long drauf do without.

Which disturbs me however enormously, is that one disturbances (and this time the error really was on the side of KabelBW) announce no longer free of charge can. That can be done to on-line ones, but if Internet does not go, then one must call an expensive 0180-Rufnummer to the neighbour with DSL, or however with the mobile phone.
And even if one persuaded all acquaintance to change but to KabelBW then is a completely blde idea. On the one hand because it does not function there also, and because those are sour, because one recommended KabelBW.

With 80cent/Minute and more from the mobile phone and still another eternally long waiting loop one is the matter with the mobile phone fast times the money, which to one the entrance costs the month over.

Clearly, errors arise, that are with all Providern like that. One should assume however times the telephone connection for most humans is not a plaything, which does not go evenly also times, but a serious meaning has (references: Accessibility, emergency calls etc.).

Neither any VoIP offerers (also also still another functional Internet connection to fall back must), still Provider, which rents the last mile of the T-Com, not Provider, those on alternative techniques (like cable connection or portable radio set) and also not the T-Com themselves.
