last week had I a strange phenomenon.
Discussions from Web.de to Sipgate (local area number) were suddenly no longer free.
The nice voice came that I was to load only times my Web cent account.
Before I had never problems.
Also an acquaintance had these problems.
Later everything went to days again without problems.
Already times had someone made same experience, or is normal that?

Annoying would be only, if one has actually assets on its Web cent account and free discussions are then berechntet nevertheless.

It may be that it does not fold now any longer. That could not test for lack of contacts with Web.de. To reach attempts nevertheless simply your Sipgate contacts directly by selection of the Sip Uri. That is free in each case. If you as terminal uses Fritz box hair dryer, then you can register also Sip addresses there directly as abbreviated dialing. Enum is not unfortunately supported by Web.de, therefore only the way remains over the Sip address.


If you have several people with different Providern, then I recommend to you a “genuine” VoIP Provider to use, that Enum must be reasonably supported and not vorgaukelt its customers not be hooked up that “nets”, in order with customers other offerers to telephone free of charge to be able.

Thus Web.de seems to only use like GMX also VoIP for liable to pay the costs fixed net telephone calls and to let the own customers telephone free of charge among themselves. Very profitable customer connection. It could present to me that Web.de blocks therefore now also these ominsen “net interconnections” again, so that more liable to pay the costs over the fixed net is telephoned. In order still more new customer to gotten, is made clear the inventory customers that they are to bring their friends and acquaintance to Web.de with it free telephone calls to become possible. Thus it makes for GMX, 1&1 and other one also. The existence of Enum more under the possibility of offerer spreading Sip calls is simply concealed and blocked by some Providern even technically.

There one can use then just as well Skype.

If Web.de and GMX would proceed so also with their email offer, then email would have itself never in the net interspersed….
