I have here a map of Digium with four green modules. Unfortunately without useful inscription, but after the photo on digium.org it would have to be a TDM400P with four FXS modules.
As I understood it so far, can attach I to it four similar telephones!? It confuses me that into the exits only R-J45-Stecker fit, as they are used for example for nearly Ethernet. The plug usual for the telephone are many narrower and have only four contacts.
Do I have to tinker myself now a cable (and where do I find the allocation for it?), or is everything completely different?
Hello bli
As far as I know the TDM400P has (and/or. several) RJ11C plug. Those are not broad as RJ45 as.
There are the plugs at each corner
That is the Product Sheet of Digium infer.

I saw a side beautiful found where one the differences can.

With start-up however different pin is an allocation too
consider. The detusche standard (I have 3 Siemes of telephones and in
Canon fax attached) occupies 4 poligen plugs on the 1 and 4
for a similar Telfonsignal. Our friends on the other side of the
Pond take naturally the pins 2 and 3.
You must make yourself a cable on the side with 2 and 3
(TDM400P) is occupied and on the other side with 1 and 4 (telephone).
This Bastelei is however very error-prone, there when changes always completely
exactly to the correct cable end to be paid attention must. I have therefore
an old 19 " Pachtpanell with a piece (2 meters) 8 poligem Cat of 5 cables
taken and thus adapters built, so which I German cables of kind of condition
to use can.
Thus a Verwechsulung is so well impossible.

Yes.

But. RJ45-Stecker fit mechanically problem-free, and me also confused.

Jein. Since the Mexicans hold it like the revision modifications, I need also 2.3 on both sides. How on mentioned above the side by you is to be seen, it does not remain with the broader plugs however with 2,3 but it is always the internal pair! For example with the achtpoligen RJ11C thus 4,5.
This appears first confusing and strange, what is however behind it, is me with an Aha experience clear-become: The vierpolige RJ11-Stecker fits problemos into the achtpolige RJ11C-Buchse (as on the web page described).
The solution is thus astonishing simple: Normal telephone plug clean-put, well is, and no stupid questions to problems place, which there are not at all.
Thanks for the assistance!
