Moin of people,
in the context of my present Asterisk euphoria I would set up gladly at home a Asterisk server. Problem for the moment: Which hardware? Dearest a PC… however it should be already correctly quiet. Thus Pentium M or so. That becomes however unfortunately completely beautifully expensive….Suggestions?

Clearly - look you here in the forum over. At the best under “Asterisk general” exactly the same question was discussed already several times there.

Since you want to scrap eh all Fritz boxes, participate you surely completely in front also
Will times look…
My Asterisk server runs all on vServern - me 2.90 costs in the month, is quietly (because the crates 300 km are located away in the computer centre) and reliable (because I must worry not about the hardware)
And I have a Asterisk here locally for internal communication directly on my WLAN rout installed. Also to it there is a Thread here in the forum.
With Fritz box

that has to by the way do nix.

Since I must merge the ISDN lines contrary to beta particles also, a computer remains “only more correct” for me.
I have a HP Vectra Vli 8 (9 cm highly, not the large crate), am beautifully small not to hear nearly fit 2 Hfc maps purely, have a Pentium 550, 256 MT and believe I 8 GB a plate.
If you straight with several discussions paralell the codecs to convert do not want hand that remaining.
If you do not have to tie up telephone lines, take the solution of beta particle, those is quieter and more currentsaving.
@ beta particles: 2,90 is however a good offer, which offerer is that?
you look
