I look for a cordless telephone, with which I can communicate with a asterisk server. There are there 3 possibilities:

1. a WLAN IP telephone

2. an voip adapter for a similar telephone

3. an voip adapter for a ISDN telephone

With which variant I achieve the best results. The best would be 1. , because I need only devices there. But as it looks with the quality. Or nevertheless better is another solution recommended?

A WLAN telephone is the simplest and also from the language quality not the worst variant.

A VoIP adapter with a similar telephone is also a good solution - there you can select yourself the DECT telephone after discretion or WAF.

A further possibility would be to be attached the telephone over a HFC map. However am also I the opinion that a WLAN telephone is the simplest and most meaningful solution. Such a WLAN telephone has above all still the advantage that one can it completely simply times carry forward and at nem other AP use can. With a DECT solution one would have to still carry along the basis and the VoIP adapter there.

A certain telephone I cannot recommend to you unfortunately, because I could test so far still none longer than 5 minutes.

The same question was asked only recently by someone, with similar contributions as now *g*.

A WLAN telephone I can personally only advise against - it is you moves in a 30qm dwelling, then the transmitting power may be sufficient. I have the Zyxel P2000W and if I am times outside on the terrace hakt's already persisting, in addition the Akku goes always fast empty. At public HotSpots it still folded with the P2000W *nie* with me.

Alternatively gibt's still, you know the F1000 von UTStarcom e.g. over http://www.sipgate.de/voipshop/utsta..._handy_28.html order. With this equipment I do not have experiences, but there are in addition reports here in the forum (must search times).

Interesting wird's probably only with the WIP 330 of Linksys, whatever supports as the first 802.11g:

My recommendation: VoIP adapter (preferably of Sipura) or Fritz box hair dryer and a similar DECT telephone.
