which sound map, which headsets?

Property some entering inquiring, which I cannot answer absolutely, if I through-root myself by the search machines.

The following computer configuration has:

Chip set PCI Intel i845PE
Onboard sound chip set
Loudspeaker
Windows XP FR 2

and possibly gladly VoIP would like to operate via software with PC.

Go with the configuration or does need does I another sound map and why?

In addition it would be desirable that at the PC end of the discussion connection two persons the discussion
1. at least to hear can,
2. better still to the same time to also speak can.

1 goes. with Headset and turned on loudspeakers or leads to whistling by acoustic feedback?

One could for 2. also two Headsets to the computer plugs and how?
- Adapters/switch to the sound map for 2 handle Headsets? or
- 1 handle Headset and 1 USB Headset (which I need for the latter, driver etc.)?

On which good web page such kind by questions (for a risers) are answered?
