Headset too quietly/correct codec

I have a Sennheiser Headset (with 3,5klinke), which I used with several PCs/Notebooks. The volume was generally very quiet. Only with “Boosting” (+10-30dB) I was understandably loud. In this case the clay/tone had naturally enormously rushed. I have the “opposite side” (normal fixed mains connection) always well, loud and cleanly understood).

Today I test-made testweise with our Multimedia PC (for clay/tone admission) one. Softphone was Ninja lite, microphone was a Rode Nt1 large diaphragm Studiomikrofon and the preamplifier was a Tascam US-144. Total value was approx. € 300, - the quality was very well however my sister had the Mike approx. 5cm before the mouth hold, so that I understand them correctly.

For normal Anwednungen would be this DIN-punch clearly too small.

I have thus the impression that the low Laustrke is not because of my equipment. The microphones always had the maximum volume value.

Which the reason can be?. So can over VoIP z. B. no customer call.

Can it be because of the codec?

My codec sequence: G711a, G711u, PCM

The discussions ran by a free PBXes plant, compared with that already offer the Premium packages a better clay/tone quality. It may perhaps be because of it.

Therefore I wanted times questions, with which equipment, codec and sound map have you an acceptable discussion quality?
