I am interested in one this audio Headsets, as they are offered in large amounts for Windows PCs.

I am disconcerted only something, because I constantly read the fact that these parts are compatible with sound maps under Windows and so problem-free could be configured.
I do not understand that.

I thought, this Headsets consist only of two jack plugs, one for the headphone exit and one for the Mic entrance. Such connections are nevertheless standardized and completely independent of the operating system - thus would have to function nevertheless all this also with a Mac, or?

if the Headset has two 3,5mm-Klinkestecker, it functions perfectly also at Macs. Mach you there no concerns. If the Headset has against it an inserted sound map and one attaches over USB, it can come to driver problems.
