I am on the search for a USB Handset with an appropriate file bowl (if necessary. also fork change over switches, so functionally with Xlite/eyeBeam).

For the moment I know only that Swxy IP 250 hand set; does someone know around the exact manufacturer, or a source of supply (no, not Swyx)?

Are there alternatives (please no suggestions la “take nevertheless a hand set of XYZ and build yourself ne file bowl)?

Hmm, Technisat has that here in the offer. UVP approx. 25 euro, to have probably in the Geiz be bld markets. I do not know however whether the part actually plays with X-Lite/EyeBeam as fork change over switch together.

the Eutectics is core scrap iron - bad language quality. The Swyx of devices is not brigends from Lancom, but both companies refer the devices with Tenovis.

I continue to be with the Swyx Handset something; simply times under Windows XP tried out, registers itself as USB Soundkarte and HID. Functioned with Xlite, however the keys hand set by HID Event are used, and a “not Swyx/Tenovis” does not understand - Softphone stop….

Normal Telefonie by means of Softclient functions.

oh - Lancom Client comes from the software Schmiede, on which many Asterisk fans grumble - that is from Swyx, therefore he flies also with the P250 so well together

I understood this somewhat differently, in accordance with Readme, section 4 test run time, license key:

After the first installation LANCOM Advanced VoIP Client will run for 30 days, without a license key was entered. During this test run time all functions without restriction will be available. The use of the language compression codec will only be reduced.

It sounds itself for me in such a way that during the test run time everything runs except some codecs (probably G.729), thereafter nothing more.
[Edit:] In addition the test version “gnaws” when starting with a message, how long the test version still runs.

I must latch myself here also again. I am exactly the same as the Threadersteller on the search for an inexpensive hand set for a VoIP Softphone (e.g. SJPhone) for the normal Office employment, thus no Vieltelefonierer or call centers.

I want to remain flexible with the jobs and not for everyone a comparatively expensive system telephone and/or. VoIP telephone purchase.

If one looks at oneself the offered devices in such a way, then the largest part of it is really only toy.
Already times did someone see this amusing keyboard telephone receiver from the proximity, integrated by A4Tech with? Those becomes among other things with Pearl for 20 cken verramscht.

Ah, thanks. The part down meanwhile also into the category “toy” put. USB listener gibt's probably in better quality -- but for the money one already gets the simplest IP telephone, which then works besides independently. Thus first times checked off.

Or these USB listeners offer otherwise some advantages, e.g. simpler “Roaming”, since the USB listener are assigned to no equipment, but only the Softphone, which with Windows more simply “its place” can than a IP (hard) Phone change. Does someone know further advantage?

Thus my thought was stop that one in this way fast “times evenly so” a new job inclusive Telephone to furnish can, without having to buy a new telephone immediately. Straight one for temporary help I these “low cost” - variant to quite prefer.

But which at the market gives it in such a way there, is genuinly underground.

now - for the combination “more cleverly” softclient + hand/Headset can e.g. speak:
- Tapi integration with local application (aufpoppen the customer information)
- Dissolution of name from local address beeches (Sales has not always all information central on the server but also already times in pers. Directory)
- Simple one “dial by hotkey” functionality (choice out not tapi capable applications)
- Custom Skin (many Leitungstatsten + many name keys) with centers a switching job

All a simple (sip) telephone cannot offer these functions to me.

That is not impossible everything in addition. There are interfaces, which make a selecting possible by computers together with Weitervermittlung to the respective branch, also.

And the “adult” version of SIP telephones gives it also with additional key panels.

Nothing the defiance is simpler that all by software to illustrate, because one must purchase evenly no expensive hardware. But which bringt's me, if it fails then because of the hardware between PC and humans.

For call centers a Headset is ideal, which gives it also in appropriate quality. But this apparently simple task to attach a telephone receiver with fork by USB seems to be somehow impossible.
I so far either only listeners without fork and keyboard found, or evenly models, which seem like cheap Kinderspielzeug. And then gibt's still so, two devices, which aim at however fully Skype. But whom Skype already interests?

What? The magic word is called CTI and that sounds above heavily after one Description of function e.g. xtelsio/PhoneSuite CTI Clients

That can do that all and still some more (no, this is not advertisement!) for Asterisk or for snom telephones (direct, not over *; and in simple - Softphone and/or. SIP client is also still alike), costs however a little thing. But: A Softphone with described above the features gibt's as far as I know also not for lau! (And otherwise I would be to be known very interested, which!)
