Together, times a question has resounding oils to DSL the speed with CO2!

If I make a connection check with Arcor/Vodafone and T-Home, I get in each case DSL 2000.
If I however with CO2 mean connection checke get I the 16000er option.
With further inquiry in our Shop me at my connection up to 13000 would arrive communicated.
How is that possible?
To catch only NEpp around customers?

the answer can give you nobody here in the forum. It completely not possibly to judge from the outside respectablly which can give a line, or not, because we do not know simply the boundary conditions (conduit length, cross section of a line, local conditions). By the way: Also T-Home, Vodafone and CO2 can only very reduced. Range data can be thus if necessary rough estimated values. The formulation “up to” can mean also 384 kBit/s.

With Arcor/Vodafone that means that a connection can be made available to you with at least 1025 kbit/s (see Product description for Vodafone DSL, Page 5). This statement does not contradict my remarks, because “up to” 13 MBit/s can be also only 6 MBit/s. One could deliver an estimation, if one would know your line values (line loss, interference level). Do you have already DSL of another offerer and a modem to, from which one can pick the line values out? If, those poste times here.

Nepp not necessarily, as long as one says to the customer, what concretely it expect may. However the customer should judge not from the product name the range, but consult but the small print. In case of of CO2 becomes however difficult. I did not know by the way at all the fact that there are still DSL Provider, which indicate no minimum ranges in their performance specifications at all, because does meanwhile each to me well-known offerer.

I had also long time a T-home DSL 6000 connection, which could offer however DSL-3000. CO2 promised me also 13 Mbit/s. I changed then to CO2 and me first for a 6000er connection decided. And see there, everything runs since then stably.
Consider now a upgrade to accomplish.
Altogether I am absolutely content with the change.

Nearly identically with me. In the meantime is the line of 13MBit on scarcely 10 Mbit pleases. In 2 years only 7 Mbit? And for it additional price pay? One should consider that, if one goes with these lines to the borders. Rather good DSL6000 (NGN!!!) as schleches DSL13000.

Therefore the Telekom is the only offerer, who switches DSL in opal areas, and which also only with good reason low range.

Alice belongs to Telefonica, exactly like CO2 - thus situation resembles, since there probably also no genuine fixed net of Alice would be available.

At the latest if one ordered gets one a final answer whether opal or not. I would order by the way only DSL2000 with CO2, so that it is not too scarcely because of the power limit, those possibly. still lower falls.

But, with Alice will it a genuine fixed mains connection gotten (with max. 1500 kbit/s). Alice uses its own technology.

With CO2 naturally only DSL would be applicable 2000.

Supplement: in opal areas there also no genuine Alice is fixed net. The only offerer, who can switch DSL connections in opal areas, is the Telekom. Such a restriction gives it however only with VoIP connections in connection with not sufficient DSL range. With genuine fixed mains connections ISDN would not be a problem, even if DSL creates only 384 kbit/s. From the fact I conclude that genuine Alice fixed net is already not available as assumed by me and is switched the connection therefore as NGN connection. From such I however with DSL light distance to take.

CO2 cannot examine! CO2 gives order to Telekom and those announces back opal or becomes then to… implemented. If opal area cannot pass anything except waiting period and because of satisfaction warranty can also nix happen.
