Foreignrout before ZyXel modem possible?

Rear one, I would like me routs Netgear WNDR3700-100PES to buy. This then as if rout/modem use and the betagten ZyXel rout as VoIP station use. Point means it? Would this function easily? If I am not completely ignorant, have would the ZyXel rout nevertheless also over the Netgear the VoIP of signals received if I these to the WAN haven attach or? I hope someone can light in the darkness bring. I found in addition unfortunately nothing and was here in the forum already on page 5 ^^ Naja 3 hr. Search should think I are enough around a question to place to be allowed. I thank you for your answers and am glad this forum to have found!

I have a 16Mbit DSL connection and a Telefonflat with CO2.
That rout is a ZyXEL P-2602-HWN-D7A. Ok one “betagt” refers stop to the fact that I would have gladly Gigabit LAN of haven and WLan N. The-half also the Netgear rout.

I would have operated the whole gladly in the order and function:

Netgear rout (DSL rout and WLAN POINT) -> Lan cable from WAN Netgear to the ZyXEL rout (VoIP Sation)

Is that to some extent understandable? I thank for your assistance.

I am not a DSL expert and can to you therefore to the line values few say… perhaps announces itself someone, which knows in addition more.

The configuration of the Netgear DSL Routers should similarly to the configuration of others foreignrouts at the CO2 DSL to take place - dererlei there are some examples here in the Subforum. In what respect however second PVC by rout to through-to-calibrate functioned, if you liked to use further the Zyxel part for VoIP, I cannot judge now really.

Control room times something, perhaps gives it here someone with Netgear routing at CO2 DSL.

To your question - why such equipment? For what at all?

The Konstrukt will not fold so at all! In addition there are several reasons:
1. To CO2-rout can one ONLY DSL feed - NO LAN connection at the entrance!
2. The 2.PVC for language does not go at downstream routs
3. Remote administration of CO2 would also be void

furthermore…
it would be to be integrated better everything into equipment. In addition most take here the Fritz box, which is supported apparently also since short by CO2. The DSL data are actually very good. Nevertheless can work a Netgear with the O2-DSLAMs perhaps less well like the O2/Zyxel-Router.

My advice:
Send O2ROUTER into the well-deserved retirement and keep the box as spare instrument. Take a Fritz box 7170/7270 and you have only one and super+good equipment.

Unfortunately this Model has still no Gigabit LAN of haven to separate only
the successor.

Your other desires were met, would have to investigate whether and which
Standard firmware with CO2 connection functions. So you could also
a free FB take
