I believe, I have such a similar problem.

I am now with another offerer and have a Modem+Wlan rout unfortunately in another room to be located. Now I would like to use the Zyxel equipment gladly as ACCESS POINT and - goes if - also further for VOIP. One can register offerers there relatively problem-free and the Internet connection should then nevertheless over wlan run?!

Could someone explain to me, what I must adjust for it everything?
Bridge instead of Routing appears to me logically. Do I have to also activate the PPPoE forwarding for it?

there you understood me wrongly. First however once thank you for this very rapid answer!
My problem:
I have a cable modem (!) with specially rout, which are hardware conditionally in another room (the wiring box sits there there). Now I would not like to place however the telephone into evenly this room and to let also a further terminal by LAN over a Acesspoint Wlan remain suited. I would let the UFO corresponding stand gladly in such a way, telephone and terminal to it and it as ACCESS POINT would take, which Internet refers over Wlan.

Question is now: this is so possible?!

EDIT: Besides it accepts never my change of routing too bridging?!

hmn. By cables that does not bring me purely nothing at all. It should be evenly an ACCESS POINT for VOIP.
Internet connection gets the thing nevertheless ber's WLAN, why it can itself then no more a selecting? VOIP of terminals create nevertheless apparent also? Very strangely…

That is less strange than normal

1. Modem and VoiP should hang because of QoS and prioritization always together directly on the DSL. In devices downstream it becomes more difficult and/or. PVC2 not possibly
2. that does not know a Zyxel routing probably yet WDS etc., i.e. it cannot be used as “receivers”.
3. Firewall and NAT are in such a way developed, which are geroutet by WAN after LAN/WLAN and which arrives direct VoIP at the DSL. That is not fed now VoIP over WLAN “from the rear” is intended in the Design.

Yes, then I have it now also (only with nem other one rout). Which makes concerns for me is that I have now 3 IPs. 2 of the UFO (Internet + Voip) and one of rout behind it owing to PPPoE passthrough. Perhaps on the part of CO2 is the problem and/or it at the end is computed? That with the calculation the shock does not come!

3 IPs and passthrough holds I for rather unusual. Normally none is possible passthrough. Then comes always “you come here net purely” as response (log)

Since it is usually closed, there are also no “penalty charges” as with other offerers. The separate connections for VoIP and Internet are however normal and but give it finally different entrance data.

This attitude (passthrough possible) on your connection can be switched off at any time again!
